Over 102,000 Tons of Goods Exported From Kurdestan in 6 Months

SANANDAJ, Kurdestan Province Over 102,000 tons of non-oil goods have been exported from the western Province of Kurdestan in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year of 1379 (started March 20), Sirous Shah-Gheibi, a provincial official, told IRNA here on Saturday. The official put the value of exported commodities at over Rls.12 billion. The exported items included clinkers, cements, dried apricot, raisins, natural chewing gums and broad beans.
The commodities were shipped to Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Azerbaijan, Kuwait, Iraq, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman. Currently the U.S. dollar exchange rate against the national Iranian currency is around 8,150 rials.
